We at Wilbert\u2019s Inc. have been recognized as the recycling industry\u2019s Green Certified environmental market leader of 2020-2021 by the Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA). We were presented with the prestigious \u201cCertified Automotive Recycler (CAR) award earlier this month. The professional automotive recycling industry has placed great emphasis on environmental and safety standards over the last couple of decades which Wilbert\u2019s businesses have eagerly embraced. Through the industry\u2019s creation of standards, recyclers can become certified as gold seal members making them known as quality market leaders. This achievement has been accomplished by some however, few have received international recognition in earning the \u201cCAR\u201d award. The Wilbert family business has been involved with the CAR program since its inception and our eagerness to be progressive has lasted throughout generations.<\/p>

There is no better recognition of many years of hard work than that which is acknowledged by one\u2019s peers. Receiving the CAR award is a solid indication the Wilbert\u2019s are true market leaders. Rick Wilbert humbly accepted the award for our family stating, \u201cIt\u2019s an honor to receive the CAR award and I know my father and brother Pete would be flattered. Thank you very much for the award, it is much appreciated.\u201d<\/p>

The award was given by the Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) and presented to the Wilbert\u2019s by the chairman of the certification committee- Shannon Nordstrom of Nordstrom\u2019s Auto of South Dakota. Shannon began his remote presentation with acknowledgment of our family\u2019s dedication to our progressiveness with \u201cas far as the records go back the Wilbert\u2019s have been involved with CAR. They are truly a family affair.\u201d Joined in person by Automotive Recyclers Association President, Scott Robertson, the unsuspected visit was a much-appreciated diversion from Wilbert\u2019s weekly board meeting. It is surely a moment we will forever remember.<\/p>

Wilbert\u2019s Incorporated was established in 1952 by Arthur Wilbert in Webster NY. We are a 2nd and 3rd generation, family-owned and operated Auto Recycling business with 5 locations in Upstate NY. Wilbert\u2019s has grown to be the area\u2019s Premium supplier of New and Recycled Auto Parts in Western NY and is a founding member of Premium Recycled Parts- North East (PRP-NE).
