Welcome back to strolling the U-Pull It, today we have a Dodge Daytona, A front-wheel drive hatchback built by Chrysler from 1984 to 1993. This being a 1993 model, is the last year of the Daytona, with only 9,062 built before being replaced by the Dodge Avenger.
Although the Daytona is commonly written off as another lame K-car, the styling of the Daytona would make its way onto the racetrack, in the form of Daytona bodied stock cars used in 1992-93 IROC racing series. Where 12 of the world’s best drivers would compete in identically prepared cars, leading to some of the most exciting, wheel-to-wheel competition in stock car history.
