As a company comprised of gearheads, Wilbert’s goes above and beyond to not only involve ourselves in the community, but to take part in automotive-related ventures. Sponsoring local racecar drivers by providing parts and funds is a great way to do this! Our drivers enjoy perks like free entry to our yard and free parts for their featured vehicles. In addition to our own family racing division, we sponsor four other drivers.

JFGMotorsports, made up of driver, Jacob Gustafson, and his father, Greg, race a 1996 Honda Prelude. They travel country-wide to compete and raced at the Freedom Factory in Florida already this year, taking home a fourth place finish! They also own Camaro and Monte Carlo racecars.

Kyle Casper of Cheektowaga, NY races a 2002 Saturn SL2 that sports the Wilbert’s U-Pull It logo.

Matthew Moreau of Bloomfield, NY drives a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix. Look out for him at Wyoming County International Speedway in addition to Spencer Speedway.

You’ll see Bill Kenny of Irondequoit, who comes from a family of racecar drivers, in a 2004 Chevy Cavalier on the track.

Lewis Racing, another father-son duo, is a Sunoco mod/Race Of Champions tour team out of Ontario, NY. Andy Lewis is a long-time friend of the Wilbert family and he and his son continue to make us proud both in their own endeavours and in Andy Lewis Jr’s racing of the Wilbert’s Racing car.

The Golden Bombs, two Chevy Cobalts, of Wilbert’s Racing Division are a well-recognized force on the track. We are happy to have family representation in these competitions and enjoy the mutual support between the company and race team. The racing legacy of Art Wilbert lives on through his children and drivers!

Being a family-owned-and-operated company, we appreciate that a lot of these race teams are comprised of family members or drivers that are carrying on the legacy of past generations.
