Volunteers from all of our locations split into teams to help cook meals for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Rochester. The mission of RMHC is to create and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families. They provide housing for families with kids undergoing medical treatment so that they can remain together without having to bear the burden of the cost of a hotel room. This Rochester location has a large kitchen where volunteers from surrounding businesses and organizations within the community can prepare food for those staying there.

According to RMHC, their programs are supported by 152,000+ volunteers who dedicate their time and resources. We are humbled to be a small part of this number. Our first group made hot honey chicken and mac n cheese while our second group contributed spaghetti and meatballs and salad. This was a welcomed change of pace from recycling cars and was done for a great cause. To learn more about Ronald McDonald House Charities and how you can support them visit RMHC.org.
