Wilbert’s has made it our mission to ensure our adopted stretch of Route 104 in Webster remains clean, thanks to the dedicated efforts of our employees.

Twice a year, in the spring and fall, our employees volunteer their time to don gloves and fill trash bags. Armed with a sense pride in their community, we set out to tackle litter and debris along Route 104 as part of our Adopt-a-Highway Roadside Cleanup initiative. Beyond merely fulfilling corporate social responsibility, we view the cleanup as an opportunity to bond with colleagues while making a tangible difference in our environment. This sense of teamwork fosters a strong sense of unity among employees, reinforcing our commitment to a positive workplace culture. We hope that by taking ownership of our local environment, it inspire others to follow suit.

The benefits of Wilbert’s Roadside Cleanup initiative extend far beyond aesthetics. By removing litter and waste from the roadside, we can do our part to contribute to a safer and healthier environment for both wildlife and motorists. Additionally, the cleanup efforts mitigate the risk of pollutants entering nearby waterways, safeguarding delicate ecosystems and preserving the natural beauty of the area.

Through the dedication and passion of our employees, Wilbert’s is paving the way for a cleaner, greener future— one stretch of highway at a time.

We encourage you to do something green this Earth Day (and year-round)!
